Beat The Gmat
How to boost my GMAT Score ?
In 2006 i took GMAT i got 630, but i dont think i will get admission in good Bschool with this score, so planning to retake GMAT in 2008 mid and join in 2009.
I am very strong in Maths, but average in Verbal, so got dumped in 630. But this time i dont want to loose, so please guide me what books should i read, to boost my verbal skills.
My fault in my last GMAT is not taking atleast one mock online test, i went to test center without even a single test taken.
Though i know my weak points from my last GMAT test, i dont wanna make the same mistakes now,
Could some help me how to boost my GMAT score in short.
P.s. I also goot 4.5 in AWA, so i cant beat this time with atleast this.
I can understand your situation. This is not uncommon among International students. Here is what I have to say
(1) Some schools give more important to Math score while other look at Verbal score. apply to schools that are more likely to select you
(2) It takes time to build skills in the English / verbal part. Therefore plan to to study for several months before you take the actual test.
(3) Refer to the good books and practice a lot. Reading editorial articles in the leading newspapers may help you beyond your expectations.
(4) At the same time do not ignore your MATH portion. Learn new Math methods from the experts: http://WinGMAT.com
(5) If possible join a review course or get help from a private tutor.
Thank
Peter
